A genuine question; although Peron may have played left against right wing and vice versa of “his” movement (and no surprise that he fundamentally and finally allied himeself with the right wing), when was he ever on the left? His nationalism and statism seems more in tune with Mussolini (under who’s regime he received his military training) than anything to do with broadening or indeed challenging the power base and structures during his time in power.
